Born in London, a graduate of the University of Oxford. He had a big future ahead of him as he was awarded the ‘Young Inventor of the Year’ award also he was awarded the ‘Order of the Britsh Empire’ award and again awarded the ‘Computers and Communications’ award from the Institute of Physics.

Tim Berners-Lee started his love for programming after his parents were computer scientists. He invented the World Wide Web so that all the scientists around the world could communicate to each other from other Universities and other institutes.

On August 6th 1991 Tim Bereners-Lee launched his brilliant idea to the world by lunching his invention...... the World Wide Web. He used resources software from the CERN (an isolated labratory).
