Yesterday, on a wounderful sunny day, Pt.England went back to start another year of TECH AT TAMAKI. We had arrived to our destination Tamaki Collage but no one was their besides our tech teachers from last year as they set off to their classes ready to do cool and wounderful things, people from Electronics and Sicence were still waiting it was like theteachers had forgotin about us. As the two groups were sitting there woundering if our teachers were coming or not. They finally came to get us we were really happy they came, walking to our room I was wondering what kind of fun stuff we were going to create in Electronics.
At Tamaki the area of learning that I am in this Term was Electronics so fun when we walked in there were funny smells first off we checked the roll to make sure everyone was there in class we talked about the wonders of Electronics. In our lesson it wasn't anything major we just talked about ''what can we make to solve the little problems'' like a hat with a fan on it or a L.E.D light on a hat. As we went in to our lesson more we talked about SENSORS and how they can help us with the little things. As the clock went Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock the session was drawing closer and closer to an end.
RING,RING,RING tech was finished for this week I hope as the weeks go on we will do more really SPECTACULAR things.

My Holiday
As I was teetering on the edge, my heart was pounding! Looking down to the water with Jonty and Richard egging me on to jump so......... I closed my eyes and..... JUMPED!
I was coming down fast, like a bullet from a gun then....’’SPLAT’’ in the water! As I rose up over joyed that I had conquered my fear! When I got out of the pool I started to feel the bruises from my hard landing so I went for another jump! This time I ran to give me a boost, I jumped. When I landed it was like a grenade in the water.
After a couple more jumps we’d had enough for one day. As we were walking to the bus-stop the bus had arrived so we zoomed off to the bus. We made it! As we were sitting in the bus huffing and puffing our stomach’s were also grumbling. As we rode back all we could think of was food, food and food and food was our main priority. We had reached our destination home, as soon as we got off the bus we ran to the nearest takeaway ( Fish & Chips Shop ). We ate like we were on an episode of "Survivor"!
It was a fun time at the pools maybe next holidays I can go again with Jonty and Richard and maybe even some more of our friend's.

My Market Day Reflection
What did you enjoy most about Market Day?
Selling my product which was a calendar
How well prepared was your group?
not as good but I learned something get it finished at the right time.
How popular do you think your product was?
not as popular as JLD shakes because a calendar is not a food.
What was your role in the group and how well did you fulfill your role?
doing the graphics for the calender and i felt I did a OK with the Graphics.
Under each of the following headings write anything that you would do differently or improvements you would make if you did it again.
Your Product?
It was average, and I would add colour finish in time.
Your Advertisement?
next time we do this and get the ad finished.
Your stall set up?
alright but we only had two boring desks.

Market Day for the year 7
Tick Tock Tick Tock me and my partner Beni were on the brink of finishing trying to bind and punch holes through but time was way ahead of us RING we looked at each other this can’t be good for us half an hour before the first lot to come to our Market Day, tension was in the air for us to finish but time was flying 10 more minutes.
It was coming down to 2 minutes and time was not on our side nerves were building each time I binded a calender 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,FINISH we finished just in time to sale we took it out and the first load of people came through and we were set up and ready to sale but now the problem was how much we were going to sale it for ‘’$2.00 no $1.50 yeah we will go $1.50 then’’ ‘’that's our price we will sale it for then’’ said Beni.
Market Day was coming to an end but we were cleaning up fast so we can smell the air of freedom also called lunch we all stormed out like a pack of crazy who had not seen daylight in ages. Overall I think me and my partner did alright, but for next time I really need to make sure to GET IT FINISHED!!!!!!.

The Sport Test
The day of reckoning had finally come for the students of Pt.England who would have to Sprint, Jump and throw .
My first impression was great with all the circutes set up as they were it was so adrenalin pumping and nervracking my heart pounding 1 billion beats a second that's how nervous I was.
The first sport we went off to do was my personal favorite DISCUS!!! as I went up to the mark so nervous so scared I picked up the discus and threw it so hard I almost pulled a muscle throwing it I was happy to here that I came second or third but so short of third I was ultimately gutted to hear that I wasshort of third tears was coming but their were allot of other throwing sports to take part in.
We went to shot-put another chance for glory and I said to my self I hope I don’t mess this up this time. I was up I felt like spewing cause the nerves had just kept buliding i put it up to my chin I used all my might to throw it looked at the teacher in charge she yelled 1st yes I was first YES!!!! I was so proud of my self I was coming first but then just when I thought who would come knock me off first place the speedster Feki NO!!! I said this can’t happened second place it will have to do suddenly when I thought shot-put was finish but we had to battle for first, second and third I slipped off the scale I did not come any-thing I was so gutted.
As the rest of the day flew by I wanted to rewind the day and do it again that’s how great it was I had so much fun doing athletics and can’t wait for 2011 ATHLETICS.
